You now have the power and the ability to make your own choices and to live in the energy of your own eternal truth. It’s time to harmonize your mind and heart with the real power of your spirit. Practice making each of these beliefs a genuine resonance in your own life force. You’ll find within them all that you seek.
You are valuable. Your soul is an eternal source of life-giving light. It shines with a meaning and purpose that you may not be aware of. In fact, your value is so profound, it’s impossible in this earthly mind to really understand the extent of your amazing worth. Open to this truth, and affirm the following: I am valuable; I am eternally valuable. In every experience, I choose to see, know, and honor how truly valuable I am.
You are worthy. Your spirit came here to experience wonderful things. You are deserving of those great things—not by virtue of fulfilling some socially acceptable condition, but by virtue of your loving Source—your Divine legacy. You have infinite access to everything valuable. Know that you deserve it and affirm the following:I am worthy and deserving of all great and good things—I open my heart and my life to receiving them now.
You are powerful. Even if you’ve felt relatively powerless in the past, you now need to know the truth. You’re a force in the world; your consciousness and energy spread throughout the Universe creating influence far and wide. It’s time to step up to your real power and take responsibility for it. Know and affirm: I am truly powerful, and I have the courage to express my power now. Authentic power is my birthright.
You have a profound inner strength and resilience. Maybe you haven’t felt this way before, but you truly are capable of taking great action and achieving wonderful things. You’re resilient, and you have the power to deal with harsh realities; to conquer fear, bounce back, and move forward. Always remember that you can rely on yourself and on the strength that goes back through all eternity. Affirm: I know I have profound inner strength. I am resilient, self-reliant, and capable of great deeds. I call upon the power within; it is always there for me.
You have a strong intuitive voice and inner wisdom. Your higher self has access to all of the information you will ever need. Your own spirit longs to guide and inspire you, but you have to believe in this innate power of yours. Slow down, quiet your mind, and get out of your worry; and you’ll soon be able to open up to your soul’s direction and advice. Meditate often, asking for answers whenever you need them. Affirm: My intuitive voice guides and directs me. I open myself to the wisdom within; I am inspired and supported in wonderful ways.
You are loved. Now and always, you are loved. The heart of Divine love is your Source, your friend, and your ever-caring partner in all things. Connecting with this blissful acceptance may seem foreign at first, but the peace it brings is astounding—and living each day in this loving awareness brings solutions to every arena of your life. So meditate on your own heart center and feel the Divine love that resides there. Affirm: I am accepted, nourished, and loved. I open my heart to the greatest peace of all. Every moment I am blessed with the presence and endless love of the Divine.
You are capable of creating miracles. Due to this vast and pervasive power of Divine love, your spirit is blessed with magic of all kinds. Every moment brings a new opportunity, and you never know when a shift in consciousness will change your reality completely. Open yourself to the lessons of every experience, and know that something wonderful and unexpected could be right around the corner. See your entire life as a miracle in progress and affirm: I am capable of magical creations. Every breath is a blessing; every heartbeat is a gift. I open myself to the miracle of now–and to all the miracles to come.
It isn’t the money you’re making,
it isn’t the clothes you wear,
And it isn’t the skill of your good right hand which makes folks really care.
It’s the smile on your face and
the light of your eye and the burdens that you bear.
Most any old man can tell you, most any old man at all,
Who has lived through all sorts of weather, winter and summer and fall,
That riches and fame are shadows that dance on the garden wall.
It’s how do you live and neighbor, how do you work and play,
It’s how do you say “good morning” to the people along the way,
And it’s how do you face your troubles whenever your skies are gray.
It’s you, from the dawn to nighttime; you when the day is fair,
You when the storm is raging – how do you face despair?
It is you that the world discovers, whatever the clothes you wear.
You to the end of the journey,
kindly and brave and true,
The best and the worst of you gleaming in all that you say and do,
And the ting that counts isn’t money,
or glory, or power, but YOU!

Paul Cardall~~Living for Eden | Stories Behind the Music
Written by Paul Cardall
Each piece tells a story. They are about experiences in my life that challenged me and brought me closer to God and my family. The tunes 1986 and 1987 are about the difficult years I came close to death. I had a serious infection in my heart that required major heart surgery both of those years. These trials helped bind our family.
Other songs reflect my celebration for life, marriage, and having children.
Whatever the experience, I hope you feel the peaceful influence of God’s love as you listen to these piano solos.
DISC ONE – Music with the Band
Our Love Dedicated to my wife Lynnette and based on my tune Grateful from the Songs of Praise album. “Some think of happiness as a glamorous life of ease, luxury, and constant thrills; but true marriage is based on a happiness which comes from giving, serving, sharing, sacrificing, and selflessness.” (Spencer W. Kimball, Past President LDS Church, June 1978 Liahona)
A Peace of My Heart Take time to celebrate life and who you are.
Early Monday For the little ones we’ve lost or who never made it.
Wasatch Living in the Salt Lake valley I always know which direction I am facing because of our majestic Wasatch Mountains. Driving along the Wasatch front gives me great satisfaction and a sense of God’s beauty.
Late Afternoon Reminds me of leaving work early on a gloomy day. I love going home.
(Written by Ryan Tilby)
Passing Time Mahatma Gandhi said, “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”
Living for Eden The Garden of Eden was a place of happiness, an unspoiled place, a time of innocence, and of childhood. Written for my daughter Eden.
Searching “Ours ought to be an unending search for truth – a search that must include spiritual and religious truth as well as worldly knowledge. And as we grow and progress, let us look for the good, the beautiful, and the positive.” (Gordon B. Hinckley, Former President LDS Church)
Sunday Drive Where I come from, people drive slower and enjoy the ride on Sundays. No matter where we are going, we love having the windows down while listening to music or talking. This song feels like that.
Hope “I have wept as I have seen the poverty and the suffering of people. My heart reaches out to them. I do not know what the solution is, except the gospel of Jesus Christ. I think it is the only thing that will help them and bless their lives. If they, even living in poverty and misery, can look to God with hope and faith it will sustain them in their hours of sorrow. . . They need a power greater than any earthly power to lift them and help them.” (Gordon B. Hinckley, Former LDS Church President)
Forgiven Where can I find peace? In forgiveness. In changing yourself for the better. In kindness and frienship. Surround yourself with family. Reflect on the past and plan for the future. Forgive and repent. Serve and love your spouse and children. Make time for your loved ones. Make their lives happy.
November A song of celebration and thanksgiving to God. A celebration of family and friends. Also, for my daughter Eden who was born in November.
DISC TWO – Solo Piano Improvisations
Many of these tunes are improvisations based on songs from disc one.
Return to Eden For my daughter Eden.
1986 This was the year when I became very ill as a young 13-year-old boy. I was in the hospital for a month. They thought they’d lose me. It was a powerful time in my life when I learned to love and appreciate each day as a gift from the Creator.
Searching for Home Sometimes we lose our way and we need to re-evaluate our priorities.
Evening Falls There is a peaceful feeling when the evening falls. When the kids our in bed and you have time with your spouse to talk and enjoy each other. I pray you have that same joy.
Monday Morning We love children and have wanted more. I come from a family of 8 and my wife from 10. I guess it’s a Utah thing. But, we’ve struggled with 5 miscarriages. Our daughter Eden is a gift from God, a miracle.
Along the Wasatch The most beautiful place on earth is along the Wasatch front. It’s not only the beauty of the mountains or the brilliant flow of green in our Salt Lake valley but for me it’s the memories and admiration for the people.
More Hope This is my desire to be healthy and live to raise my daughter and enjoy my wife along with everything God has blessed me with. Even though there are many trials above all He has been so generous.
April Skies Spring. Can I say anything more? My wife and I were married in April. And in my faith it’s a time to hear and reflect from many spiritual leaders in a conference event who move and inspire me.
Remember Our Love For my wife
Sweet Hour of Prayer Prayer is sweet. I thank God every day for life and all its challenges. He is proofing us faithful. He is the Father in the stands cheering us on and not the umpire or coach.
Twinkle Little Star For my daughter
1987 This was the year I have reconstructive heart surgery which has now lead over a 20 year period to being listed on the Heart Transplant list. My faith in God and love of family and life began as I endured the trauma of this event.
These are photos from a wonderful lady by the name of Betsy Foster. This first album is of her “Daily” photos for April 2009. It contains photos of all things found in her daily life-sunsets, kittens, landscapes, people, pets, kittens, flowers. I discovered her from her wonderful kitten photos on “The Daily Kitten”. She also is a wonderful composer and musician of soft, melodious, often romantic, slightly new age, contemporary music which I will hopefully be sharing soon. Some of her photos are available for sale on her website athttp://www.shutterbuglady.comI am starting with a single photo-A pink azalea blossom- the perfect choice to represent a beautiful spring. I am only sending the current April gallery now to see how this works. If all goes well, I will send more soon…..lol

The Akita Breed-Their name means “Bear” and they were once bred to protect Japanese Emperor’s. The name is well suited-Except they always remains loyal, loving and above all else CUDDLY to their human parents and extended ‘family. They are truly one of God’s greatest creations and a favorite of mine.

Hi, I saw these photos on Flickr and wanted to share them. Quite a few of the photos are of Siamese kittens/cats, which are my very favorite breed. I can’t imagine why their Mom named the set “Neurotic Cats”. It must be for the other cats in the set.
I beleive they all have a Creative Commons license attached, so they’re fine to save some for yourselves if you want. Have fun!

This is a link to my favorite ‘family friendly’ Internet Radio station. Their format is Christian, mostly music with a few regular Talk sessions from Family Life and similar shows.
The following is from the ‘comments’ section for a video. Both were posted by a young woman who has a YouTube channel where she lists all her favorite ‘Worship’ related music, talks, sermons etc. so she can share them with everyone. I don’t know her real name as she doesn’t give it on her YouTube page, but I have included her Channel name and address. I only came accross her while listening to a song called “Sorrow”, sung by a female vocalist who goes by the name “Flyleaf”. I didn’t even know who SHE was until I listened to the song, and I just added the video to my ‘Quicklist’ because it was a reccomentation from one of my subscriptions~~ http://www.YouTube/user/GodIsWorthMyLife
“Familiar breath of my old lies, Changed the color in my eyes SOON he will perforate the fabric of the peaceful by and by”. “Left alone with only reflections of my MEMORY To face the ugly girl, That’s smothering me Sitting closer than my pain,He knew each tear before it came SOON he will perforate the fabric of the peaceful by and by” “I’ll take this piece of you, And hold for all eternity For just one second I felt whole, As you flew right through me”
GodIsWorthMyLife (This is in response to someone asking/talking about what the song means) It’s probably the old lies of satan. She puts all her trust in Christ and reminds herself of all the times God has been there. Him knowing her tears before they fell and the peace He gives her.She doesn’t want to remind herself of her old self before her conversion when satan had her.She puts her hope in God who has her now. She is a child of God, reminding herself of that.
This is the ‘Welcome’ message for her channel Please, tell everyone you know about Jesus Christ so we can be a big family in Heaven! Please accept Jesus Christ if you haven’t, you have nothing to lose.. but if you don’t accept Him you have everything to lose.. if you do you have everything to gain! Eternal life is a long time to be wrong and its a great time to be right! Please accept Him tonight!!!!!!Love your soon to be family in Heaven and of course Jesus loves you!!!!!
YouTube Video Channel~~WorshipVideo: These are the words to a really wonderul song called “This Fathomless Love’, a video recommendation that I just happened to decide to try out. I beleive it was produced by GraceSoverign Ministries, at least their name is on it in a couple of places : Lord, what moved Your heart to love lowly man Before any star could herald praise? And why did You come, abasing Yourself Veiled in a robe of frail human clay? Why would You, the pure, give Your live for the vile The innocent seeking the guilty to be reconciled?
I can’t comprehend this fathomless love I’m gripped and amazed at what you have done Why would the adored become the despised To bear all the furious wrath that was mine? How awesome this mystery Of Your fathomless love for me Why would You adopt and take as Your own Those who had crushed Your one precious Son? Your name they have cursed and Your throne they have shunned Oh, how could You chose to show kindness to these? The ones who mock You and hate You The ones just like me? I can’t comprehend this fathomless love I’m gripped and amazed at what You have done Why would the adored become the despised To bear all the furious wrath that was mine? How awesome this mystery Of Your fathomless love for me! Since God seems to have become the subject of this journal entry, here’s the address for one of GodIsWorthy’s Favorites http://www.YouTube/user/Godsarmyguy87 Totally unrelated, but here’s a one more music video link from the Pandora Radio group. It will take you to a page where you can sign up for the RSS feed if you want, but you can also click on each video and go to YouTube to watch them. If you’re not familiar with them, they produce mostly or all Live videos from gigs and concerts all accross the country in pretty much all genres. Lots of new and/or unknown artists. Definitely worth checking out!: Pandora Radio’s Video Series~~YouTube Channel
shellorz posted a photo: the shapes those clouds can take for a very short time are impressive. If you're imaginative enough you can see a hurling ghost diving onto the town with an open mouth and very long hair. Best seen large
